The hours Penang policyholders actually open the app
Observation days in George Town keep showing a quiet office-hour sample and a noisy evening one. If your sessions only run at 11 a.m., you will miss the workshop photograph.
George Town office hours are a poor proxy for motor self-service. The people who can attend an 11 a.m. session are often not the people who hit a tree on the way home from Butterworth or who wait at a workshop after the last ferry.
When we have been allowed to sit later, the unfinished motor claims cluster after 7 p.m. Medical e-card retrieval clusters around hospital visiting hours, which are not your claims floor’s tea break. Endorsements — address changes after a house move — show up on Sunday nights, when the furniture is in and the old utility bill is finally in someone’s hand.
If a review’s policyholder sessions are all booked between 10 and 4 because that is when the meeting room is free, the written account will be polite and incomplete. Ask security for an evening room. Offer a Saturday morning for endorsement tasks. Pay the overtime for one claims supervisor to sit with us; it is cheaper than another quarter of the same telephone overflow.
We still run daytime sessions. Older policyholders who want a daughter in the room often prefer them. The point is mix, not a fashion for night work.
